Just wanted to quickly post this. I was sitting here nursing Gracie so I was just reading some blogs and I found this post. Such a GREAT idea!!! We colored 2 dozen eggs last night. I plan on making deviled eggs for Easter Sunday lunch and now I have a use for all those eggs shells! The kids will have a blast doing that on Monday. I will post pictures later on when they do them.
Edit: It is now Thursday. Here is a picture of them creating their egg shell mosaics! Warning...there is LOTS of glue involved. But they did enjoy it. We didn't get to it on Monday...but we did on Tuesday. I was worried that the eggshells might be kinda stinky but nope, they seemed just fine to wait a few days to use them. Over all a great after Easter project!

WOO HOO! How did yours turn out?? Trying to decide if we should try it or not.... lol!
We just did them yesterday. They didn't turn out as nice as I hoped. but the kids had fun. I'll post pictures later on. They just poured on TONS of glue and slapped on pieces of shell..but it was entertaining for them at least!
